Let me remind you again that in theory every activity in the game can drop you every kind of a gear piece or tactical. FULL LIST OF TACTICAL ITEMS AND HOW TO GET THEMīioWare did a great job providing hints as to where each item might be found. Right-clicking on your character’s icon, you can choose between several options, as shown in the image above. You can now choose what type of loot you will be prioritizing. When you reach level 75, a new option becomes available to you. The lists below will help you learn which items are available in which parts of the game and what you need to do to get them. ![]() In theory most tactical items can be looted from gameplay, but there are a few exceptions. Not all tactical items are available everywhere. Most of these are short and usually funny. The light-blue text on the next row is at the same time a lore note and a joke. ![]() The green text explains exactly what ability this tactical affects and/or how does it boost/alter your performance in or out of combat. BioWare moved the credit sink elsewhere :) The background around the title represents the tier of the item.īelow that you see a confirmation that the item does bind to your Legacy. The top of the tooltip is reserved for the item’s name. The example in the image above is an item examined before it was purchased from a vendor, so it contains the price info at the bottom. When you mouse-over a tactical, the tooltip gives you all the information you need. The Tactical item slot is located on the left side of the gear panel, just above the relic slots. The good news is that, like all armor parts, the Tacticals are also bound to your Legacy. They have the same value as an armor piece. The Tactical items from the Fleet vendors are quite pricey. And, yes, they are the same vendors that sell armor parts too. They are located in the Supplies section. If you refuse to fight the RNGods and go for a direct purchase, you would be happy to learn that there are vendors on the Fleet that will be more than willing to sell you these precious new gear items for a price. ![]() You can also purchase the Tacticals from vendors or craft them. Some might be part of a mission reward, others will be a random drop from a special creature (usually a boss or a mini-boss). The new tactical items are obtained ss you play your game and complete missions, fight in PvP, Flashpoints, Operations or do Daily Missions. The devs also invented a brand new gear slot. With the release of patch 6.0 BioWare added a ton of new armor sets with unique new set bonuses for all classes. When you reach level 75 (the current new level cap in Onslaught), a whole new world of opportunities opens up for you and your character. WHAT ARE THE TACTICAL ITEMS AND HOW TO USE THEM Note: If a Tactical has been redesigned or otherwise significantly updated (other than numbers increase or nerf), the previous effect of the tactical will be marked with a strike-through line and the new effect will be listed below it.
